This is the site of John Fitchett, EASTERN SHORE PHOTOGRAPHY. My photography is local to the Kent Narrows and Eastern Shore of Maryland. My style of photography is local scenery, with a natural, nautical and wildlife theme, as well as photos from the European, and Mediterranean Sea area.
I do the local art and craft shows in the area of Kent Island and the near eastern shore area through the Spring, Summer and Fall. One of my regular shows is at the Fisherman's Inn restaurant, sponsored by the Queen Anne County Hospice on the second Saturday of each month, 10 am to 5 pm, starting in May and through September.
I had three photographs on display, with other artists, at the Annapolis Maritime Museum on 2nd street Eastport, Annapolis until the end of June. Also there are three of my photos hanging in the entrance to the emergency care center in Grasonville, off of route 50.
At the Queen Anne County Center For the Arts in Centreville, Md., Myself and others will have an Art Exhibit Showing, from Sept. 14 through October 26, 2013.
I am a member of the Kent Island Federation of Arts, which is located in Historic Stevensville, Md. on Kent Island just East across the Bay Bridge from Annapolis.
My photographic experience spans more than 55 years, beginning with a Brownie Bulls Eye black and white 120mm film camera and advancing through several different 35mm SLR film cameras, to Digital SLR format in 2007. I am currently using a Canon T2i Digital SLR camera with two lenses, a 17-55mm and a 75-300mm. Canon being my camera of choice for over 45 years.
